The Night drive is a frame by frame animation that takes its audience on a journey, shedding light on the intricate dynamics of global trade through the perspective of a child. It serves as a thought-provoking call for cities to confront its challenging and inescapable questions.

This animation project emerged as my response to the 'Ambitious Cities' brief given by the RSA Student Design Award 2022. My aim was to present the subject matter in a universally relatable and personal manner, as the impacts of globalization are felt by individuals worldwide.

The story unfolds with diverse characters and settings, enabling audiences from various backgrounds and cities to connect with its narrative. Employing a hand-drawn texture, the animation emphasizes the human essence inherent in this subject matter, fostering a deeper sense of empathy and understanding. By intertwining visual artistry and storytelling, "The Night Drive" prompts contemplation and encourages dialogue about the profound effects of global trade on our interconnected world.
